CS:GO Snakebite Case Celebrates the End of Operation Broken Fang

The Snakebite Case Offers New Skins as Operation Broken Fang Ends

Operation Broken Fang was a treasured addition to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community. The exciting Operation Broken Fang started on December 3, 2020, and ended on May 3, 2021. The Snakebite Case was released on May 3, 2021, to celebrate the end of the operation. Bringing the CS:GO community another 17 community-designed weapon skins, the Snakebite Case also features the Broken Fang Gloves. These gloves were also featured in the Operation Broken Fang Case and the Recoil Case.

Skins in the upper tiers brought vibrant explosions of color while lower-tiered skins brought muted oranges, blacks, and browns. Featuring some of the most popular skins in the game, this case was eagerly accepted by gamers around the world. With the original Operation Broken Fang case discontinued, this case offers players a great opportunity to get the skins and gloves inside as it is currently in the Prime drop pool. This means, for players with Prime Status who level up, they are more likely to receive this case or others in the pool.

Opening the CS:GO Snakebite Case

Saying goodbye to Operation Broken Fang was bittersweet for players who were introduced to this chest on the last day of the operation. Players can try to score this Prime case drop once a week by leveling up. However, it’s also available for sale and trade for those that simply didn’t have the time to play enough to bump up to the next level.

What’s Inside the CS:GO Snakebite Case?

Inside, players will find another set of 17 community-designed weapon skins along with the Broken Fang Gloves. The gloves, though rare, also have the ability to drop from the Recoil Case as well. Since both Recoil and Snakebite are available in the Prime case pool, this is a great time for users to farm cases and get those gloves and rare skins they’ve always wanted. And, just because the gloves drop from more than one case, these skins are exclusive to this one. Included in the case are:

Market Demand and Rarity

While the Snakebite Case still drops in-game, the contents are still considerably valuable among CS:GO players. Players can acquire the case itself for less than $1 on the Steam Community Market, making it quite affordable for those who wish to open more cases than they can earn in a week. With over 360,000 cases available, there appears to be no shortage for collectors. That being said, it’s difficult to know when this case will be moved to the rare or discontinued designation.

Despite the chance to acquire these gloves in two different Prime drop pool cases, the Specialist Gloves | Marble Fade still top the charts near $2,000 with Rezan the Red, Snow Leopard, and Jade not far behind. Weapons skins from this case aren’t priced as high with The Traitor for USP-S coming in at nearly $300 for the StatTrak technology version. Also coming in above the $100 mark is the Factory New StatTrak version of In Living Color, one of the more popular skins for the M4A4.

Other incredible designs stand out in the top 100 skins for the Snakebite Case including Slate, one of the more common AK-47 skins due to its sleek all-black appearance. Other skins making the top of this list include the top-tiered drops in various conditions, with the StatTrak versions adding to their value.

Get Your CS:GO Snakebite Case

With the Operation Broken Fang Case discontinued, players still have a great chance to get some of the high-valued gloves from the Snakebite Weapons Case either through in-game drops or by trading or purchasing on the Steam Community Market or third-party sites. Currently, the gloves are the highest-selling items from this case, but there’s no reason to believe that may not change in the future. Beloved skins will always have a place in CS:GO and StatTrak versions will always appeal to players who want to keep track of their confirmed in-game kills. Aside from that, it’s anyone’s guess as to what this case and its contents will or won’t do when it comes to value. As the game continues to evolve and release more content, one thing is certain: CS:GO players love collectible skins.
