CS:GO Danger Zone Case Offers Second Chance for Horizon Knives
Picking up where the Horizon Case left off, the Welcome to the Danger Zone Update presents Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players with a second opportunity to get the coveted Horizon knives in their original finishes.
The December 6, 2018, update unveiled the "Danger Zone," CSGO's exhilarating battle royale game mode that harnesses the fast-paced tactical gameplay of CS: GO. Players can brave the danger alone or team up with a duo or trio in this action-packed mode promises intense and thrilling encounters. Alongside the newly introduced battleground, players who had been loyal CS:GO enthusiasts prior to the update were granted Prime Status and rewarded with a special commemorative Loyalty Badge to proudly showcase on their profiles. This meant they had access to the new Danger Zone Case.

Market Demand and Rarity
The market price for the Danger Zone Case comes in at less than $1. However, this is not unexpected seeing as the case does still drop in-game (though rarely) and there are over 260,000 Danger Zone Cases in circulation on the Steam Community Market alone. There is potential for the value of the case to increase as inventory decreases and if or when it is labeled as discontinued. For now, the Danger Zone Case provides players another opportunity to get the incredible skins above.
When it comes to the Danger Zone Case weapon skins, the clear prize is a Factory New Asiimov for the AK-47 with StatTrak technology. Currently, this skin is listed for $750 on the Steam Community Market. Other skins coming in at over $100 include other versions of the Asiimov skin as well as the Neo-Noir for the AWP. While these two skins dominate the $25 and up range, others start to make an appearance at that point.
The Horizon Knives featured in the Danger Zone Case exist at a much higher price point. With knife skins dropping only around 0.26% of the time, it’s no surprise they fetch prices upward of $1,000. The most impressive knife prices for the Danger Zone Case belong to the Factory New version of the Crimson Web Navaja Knife at an astonishing $1,750 followed by the Case Hardened Stiletto Knife at $1625.
Get Your CS:GO Danger Zone Case
Players seeking the original Horizon Knives still have the opportunity to get them in either the Horizon Case or the Danger Zone Case. But if they want any of these incredible skins, they’ll have to crack open a case or purchase or trade to get the skin that they want. While the case does still drop in-game, changes to case drop mechanics mean it could take players a while to get the case they want. Thankfully, the market price on these cases is low enough to not break the bank. Grab your CS:GO Danger Zone Case while you still can.
